Technology is ever changing and new innovations are emerging, my students need to be given opportunities for growth.
I teach third grade and this year I have 2 groups of 30 students.
I teach at a public school and we are feeling the cut backs like everyone else. Our budget doesn't allow for resources such as a MacBook. I have a classroom full of children, all with different needs and interests.
My Project
Technology in the classroom will help develop higher order thinking skills, promote excitement and interest, and facilitate academic learning. I would like to create an interactive classroom and learning environment with a range of technologies. This MacBook will be used to support lesson plans, conduct research, enhance curriculum, and improve the students' tech literacy skills. It will engage students in a variety of diverse subject areas. It will be used for recording fluency, student created presentations, and as a way for students to display and share their work with classmates.
