Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are all extremely motivated, bright kids with a ton of potential waiting to be molded, discovered, and celebrated. Kinder is a grade level that really sets the tone for a solid academic foundation.

If the basics aren't obtained, it will create gaps that can may be detrimental to students.

I am trying to give my students all resources possible to ensure success.

Over 30% of my students live in a shelter or nontraditional home setting. My school make every effort to give students a home away from home and expose them to things they wouldn't typically see.

My Project

Students will have access to technology in the classroom to use in workstations. They will also be able to use the air pods and not disturb others in the room while they are learning on the interactive tablet. We are currently very limited with technology especially updated technology that my students are familiar with. The iPad is something that they see regularly and it reminds them of an iPhone which excites them even more. I would be able to download educational games and apps to use with students to keep their attention and build on their student interest. This iPad and accessories would be a blessing to my class and students.
