Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kindergarten is a very demanding and busy place. This is their home away from home. Kindergarten is very active from the time you enter the building until it's time to go home. From the time the students enter the classroom, they are learning, creating, and interacting.

Kindergarten is important because it provides a great foundation for first grade.

In my classroom, I provide an environment for children to explore, gain a sense of self, play with peers, and build self-confidence in addition to reading, writing, and math. Some of my students have never attended school. Helping our classroom to be interactive will benefit all of the needs of my students. Once they enter the classroom, they never want to leave. They love school and are eager learners and these supplies would make their school day even better!

Having technology integrated into the classroom will be a great asset to my students. I have requested a MacBook Pro that will allow me to use technology-based lessons with my students in addition to targeted activities to reach each child's individual needs.

Using technology along with the Kindergarten curriculum and lessons allows my students to interact and be more interested in the subject they are learning. This MacBook Pro will help to make learning more fun and enjoyable and it will help my students thrive in our rigorous learning environment.
