My students need Chromebooks in order to learn how to use technology in their everyday lives. They will be able to access online learning sites, do research projects, and learn to use all Google features.
Our school strives to find a leader in every student. My students are proving each and every day that they are eager to learn and cheering each other on in the process. As my students continue to learn the 7 habits of highly effective people (students), they are smiling, putting forth a great effort, and enjoying their educational experience.
All students learn at different speeds and in a variety of ways.
I am striving to give my students (grades 2-5) the opportunity to grow as a leader and set individual goals in as many ways as I can. I want them to come to school every day with an excitement for learning new things and applying them to their lives.
My students make me smile every day, and I am glad that I have been given the opportunity to work with such a great group of students.
My Project
Chromebooks are needed in the classroom so that students can learn how to responsibly use technology for learning, research, and implement it in their everyday lives. I will teach my students about the importance of filling out applications correctly, how to use the keyboard, use Google Classroom to set up projects, take AR tests, and use online learning material to support what we are already learning within the classroom.
I plan to make this learning opportunity one of our (WIGS) Wildly Important Goals for this year.
Technology is not going anywhere, so I want to teach my students how to make it a useful tool for now and in the future.
