My students need a printer in the room so that we are able to print out the wonderful work and projects we create on the computer.

I teach a third grade special education class. The school is in a low income area in Queens. The students in the class are also classified as bilingual.

In our school, it is very hard to use technology. We have limited resources and are hard pressed to find a printer that is functioning. My students become so excited when they are able to use the computers in the library and print things out. If we were able to have the resources at our disposal, they would be able to flourish in the studies and enjoy what they are learning.

The resource that i am requesting is a color printer for the classroom. Unfortunately, we are unable to print things from our classroom computers and it is hard to use this technology to create meaningful work. If we were able to have a printer, my students would be so much more enthusiastic and motivated to use educational technology.

This printer could change the way these children view their work and themselves. By being able to print out their finished products and see what they have created, their self esteem will be raised. In turn, they will have more confidence in themselves and be able to flourish in the classroom. Please help make a difference in the learning community and lives of these children. By donating, you will make it possible for current and future students to prosper in the classroom.
