Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

These electronic tablets will be used every day in my classroom. In reading, each child will have books available at their "just right" level as well as books beyond their levels that can be read to them. In writing, each child will use the tablets to access facts to add to their non-fiction and realistic fiction writing. In math, each child will use the tablet to practice basic math facts and to use sequentially accelerating math programs to expand their math skills and knowledge. Through out the day these tablets will be used by the students to answer their immense and varied questions.

2nd grade students are consumers of information, knowledge and ideas.

With these tablets they will be able to feed their hunger for answers to their many questions and strengthen their reading, writing, and math skills.
