Third grade is an amazing year! Students are learning to become leaders and start to see themselves people with choices in their education and in their lives. They are transitioning from primary students to elementary students.
My third graders like to laugh and dance, while also starting to take education seriously.
I want to give my students every opportunity to make the most of their third grade experience. By making learning fun and engaging students will begin to have life long love for learning.
My Project
Our school has technology that I use as often as I can. But 1 chromebook cart for 16 classrooms is not ideal. On an hourly basis during my teaching day I wish that I could have access to chrombooks, that the students could use whenever the need arises. Students learn at different phases and in different ways.
Differentiations in a classroom can be incorporated so well with chromebooks.
The students who has finished the lesson can use the chi book to look up facts and create a google slide to go with thier work. The student who is having trouble orally following along May be able to follow along on the chrombook, or get a chance to do the assignment in a modified way. There are hundreds of ways for students to get more out of their education with technology.
