My Students

Do you remember that satisfying feeling you got when you finally found the information you were looking for when researching a topic on the computer? My students are longing for that feeling.

How many of you use the computer to investigate or write out your work?

My students are awesome students. They work very hard and always try their best on their work. They love to show off their creative talents on every project. My students are part of a school that values hard work!

My Project

My students are asking for a new computer for our class. We use computers every day. We would value another to help us investigate and learn our subjects, especially in math and science. Much of our curriculum calls for students to demonstrate their creativity. In science, we learn about the Earth's ecosystems and being green. Students would use the computer to view videos about recycling and using Earth's resources wisely. In social studies, we work on projects on Native American tribes. Students enjoy using the computer to see images and research about civilizations and cultures. In language arts, we do many projects to demonstrate our literacy. Computers help us with our fluency and investigations about similar topics. In math, we are learning multiple methods to solve our math problems. Students would use the computer to view and create videos and documents to demonstrate their knowledge.

This computer will enable students to investigate, create, and present their knowledge to the class, and with our new Common Core Standards, students will be able to further their education by having more computers in the class.
