My Students
Do you remember the amazing feeling of seeing a cell for the first time? Students in my class are fascinated with cells and microscopic life. Help us get closer!
My students come from culturally and economically diverse backgrounds.
However, they have the commonality of a love for science. I want to help foster their love of science and encourage them to keep exploring. Learning to love science and the microscopic world will encourage the doctors, biologists and scientists of the future.
My Project
Students in my science class are eager to use technology to explore the world around them, and I want to provide it for them! In our life science class we will be working with cells and microscopic life extensively, however we have very few and aging microscopes. I would like to utilize computer microscopy to project large images for the whole class to see and discuss. The computer microscope can be used in many labs as a center for students to use independently or as a powerful demonstration device. Help me train the scientists of tomorrow to use the 21st Century Tools of today!
By supporting our project you will be helping to expose budding scientists to today's world of digital science tools and me reach ALL of the students I work with every day.
