My Project

My students live in a low income school district, and each year more and more cuts are made to our school, greatly affecting the resources we have. I work with a wonderful group of teachers that work hard to provide our students with meaningful learning experiences; however we have little money to do this. Each day our students come to school eager and ready to learn. They don’t let the financial hardships interfere with their desire to learn and be the best they can be.

I teach an inquisitive bunch of third graders who love learning and I am always looking for fun, creative ways to keep my students engaged during the lessons.

I am asking for a Chromebook laptop! My current computers have seen better days and have slowly stopped working over time. I am in need of new ones to replace them. The laptop computers are used on a daily basis in our classroom across several different subject areas. They are used to help build decoding strategies in reading, to practice multiplication facts for math, and as a reward at recess. They have truly made a difference in this ever-increasing technology world! Please consider funding our project! I promise this is something the students will use daily in the classroom! Thank you for your time and commitment to my students and their education!
