I am so excited to have a wonderful group of first graders this year! Each one of them enters my room on a daily basis excited and ready to learn.
I strive to give my students the opportunity to grow their brain and use as many strategies as possible to think outside the box.
I believe my students deserve multiple resources to maximize each of their learning styles. First grade is a very important year, and I hope they enter second grade with a tool belt full of tools for learning.
My Project
Please help me to increase student achievement by providing my students with tablets! These tablets will be used to increase student engagement and to provide my students with additional resources for differentiation in the subjects of math and literacy. My young learners are incredibly diverse in their learning needs and are highly motivated by technology use. Your support of our project will go directly to providing three tablets to my first graders who may not have access to technology at home. The tablets provided will help my students to learn and grow by giving them access to games and activities that I can monitor to promote individual learning goals. In addition to providing my students with learning games, tablets are a highly motivating incentive; this allows me to make learning for my little ones so much FUN!
