My students need a Chromebook to go beyond the classroom and explore many learning tools available to them.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Silva's classroom raised $282

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come from a very low economic area. Both parents struggle to put food on the table for the family. My students are kids are always ready and willing to learn. My students are happy when they enter the classroom. I teach in a Title I school where all the students receive free lunch.
Our school tries its best to supply us with what we need but unfortunately not everything is purchased for us.
I'm grateful for what we get but it is limited.
My Project
The Chromebook would allow my students to explore the internet through different learning games. They would use the Chromebook to enhance their alphabet skills and math skills. I would set up the Chromebook in a learning center for them to use throughout the day.
Giving my students access to this technology would enhance their learning.
Using the Chromebook daily would help my students in learning anew technology. It will get them ready for the 21st century. They will have the experience at an early age to maneuver through a computer and learning games. They will be ready access a computer when it comes to testing.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
