Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
For many years, I’ve had the privilege of using basic technology to help teach and inspire my students. It's been a rewarding journey to witness their growth and development, and I'm proud of the progress we've made together. However, as technology evolves, so do the needs of my classroom. My goal is to give each student the best opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed in an increasingly digital world.
An iPad would allow me to personalize math lessons for students at various learning levels, making it easier to address individual strengths and areas for improvement.
Using a range of educational apps, I could create customized practice sets, adapt lessons to different learning speeds, and provide targeted support where needed. For example, struggling students could use interactive apps like IXL or DeltaMath to work on foundational concepts at their own pace, while more advanced students could explore higher-level topics through problem-solving games or math simulations. The ability to differentiate instruction ensures that every student receives the right level of challenge and support.
