Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I love my students. I teach at an inner-city school in Oklahoma City. My students are 95% Hispanic and live in a high poverty area. These students are very bright and deserve the best educational opportunities. However due to lack of the state education budget and the lack of income on the parents' part, many of these students do not get the opportunity to benefit from the best educational tools. I really appreciate your support in investing in the education of my students! Thanks!
My Project
I am requesting three tablets and screen protectors for my students. They will use these during Daily Five literacy stations. During this time they will listen to books being read to them and practice important literacy skills. I will also use these tablets during Daily Three math stations. During these stations the students will be using the tablets to practice math skills such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
My students love technology and learn best when working on the computer!
My job is to figure out my students' learning style and teach them to the best of my ability. Many students today learn best through the use of technology in the classroom. Therefore this is why I am requesting these tablets for my classroom. Thanks for supporting my kiddos!
