My Students
My students are my pride and joy. Unfortunately, they come from families with high socio-economic needs. About 80% of my students are English learners and need extra support in order to achieve the goal that has become our mantra: Every student can graduate. Every student can graduate from junior high, high school, and college. This is instilled into our students from kindergarten.
My students are innovative, enthusiastic, caring, and inspiring individuals, and my goal is to encourage them to continue to be lifelong learners.
My Project
I want to provide my students with the tools they will need to be successful. Chromebooks will provide an opportunity for my students to utilize technology, which they often do not have access to at home.
Therefore, providing this opportunity at school is vital to their academic success.
In my classroom, I plan to utilize Chromebooks in whole group instruction, small group instruction, and as part of independent practice. Students will have access to Google classroom where they can complete assignments, as well as communicate and collaborate with each other. Furthermore, they can express their creativity when creating different projects that are technology driven.
