My students are energetic and eager learns who come to school each day with a smile on their faces. They are so curious about the world about them and their excitement inspires me to provide them with the best possible learning experiences.
Many of my students have one or both parents who are serving in the military and their home environment can be very unpredictable at times.
I strive to provide my students with a stable and consistent environment that nurtures their learning and growth. As a new teacher to the school district, I would love to provide my class with materials that will benefit their learning experiences.
My Project
Technology in the classroom will not only help my students for their future careers, but also help me teach students with varied learning styles. My students LOVE learning on the Smartboard. However with 22 little learners, it is hard to keep all their attention and have them all engaged. Having these tablets will allow me to provide them with a different approach to learning!
Most of my students come from military families and often do not have access to technology when at home.
These 4 kindles, cases, and a charging station will allow me to open up a center for technology. It will also motivate my students to learn/practice different skills such as letter recognition, phonics, writing, counting, and it will help me reach my early emergent readers!
