My Students
I teach in a charter school which is growing immensely with very bright students. The school is filled with students ready to learn new things daily and are given the opportunity to work hands on in all that they do. Providing different ways to learn is a goal of mine and with the help of technology, I am able to do so. Our students are courageous and take on any task put in front of them. Growing up in this era, our students need the hands on that technology and other resources allow them to have.
My Project
The iPads and protective cases I am requesting will serve so many purposes in my classroom. My students will be able to explore digitally and learn from different educational sites along the way. We just need your help getting them to our classroom. The iPads will be used for small group work and for literacy and math stations so they serve more than one purpose! With the educational apps and websites which have and are being created, I feel it is to my students' best interest to have the opportunity of working digitally, occasionally, throughout the day. One of my favorite educational apps even allows students to share what they are working on with their parents' with permission. How awesome?! My classroom, full of bright and courageous first grade students, needs your help in making a dream become our reality!!
