Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are respectful and responsible role models. They thrive on learning new information and trying out new programs and technology. At my school, students come to school ready and eager to learn daily. They ask interesting, thought-provoking questions, and engage in wonderful Math and Science talks. They take notes without prompting and make plans to study together after-school.

My goal as a teacher is to motivate my students, but more often than not, they are the ones who motivate and inspire me.

The children at my school come from diverse backgrounds and countries, but we all have come together to create an uplifting school community.

My Project

At this time, our classroom of 30 has to share 17 Chromebooks. By donating to this project, my students will have an increased number of devices in the classroom to use. They will also gain experience using tablets and using a different operating system.

I want my students to continue to always love to learn by offering a variety of ways to do so.

My plan for these tablets is to give one device to each group. Students will be able to scan QR codes to find out information, record and collect data, read assigned articles, and collaboratively work on assignments through our classroom programs.
