My Project
In teaching students with different learning variations in a district 75 school (special education), two things remain consistent, that is every student learns differently and how I teach must be engaging and eye-catching. Due to my students being visual learners having Amazon tablets that can be tied into everyday lessons can be an academic game changer. In my classroom, we focus on structured teaching, with this type of teaching the students engage in rotations in order to promote a variety of exposure to different skills.
Amazon tablets can play a significant role in classroom instruction during rotations by aiding in student learning and engagement.
That is because for some student's part of their rotation includes the ability to use technology in order to have access to websites such as ABC Mouse, Reading IQ, Boddle Learning, CodeSpark, and Teach a Monster to Read. Having the ability to have a tablet in the classroom can allow the student to have a one-to-one interaction in order to help promote new skills.
