Technology in My Classroom to Connect With All Learning Styles!

My Students
My class consists of 22 students, where the majority are English Language Learners whose parents have come to the USA from different parts of the world. I realize that having a diverse group of student’s means recognizing that they all are unique in their own special way. Each with their own mixed interests, abilities, and goals. Some of my students are learning to add and subtract, while some of their classmates are learning to read and write. Whatever their differences may, be one thing they all have in common is their interest in technology.
My Project
By having this technology readily available for my students I can meet their individual learning needs which will cause them to make growth and catch up on material they haven’t mastered yet through online educational programs. This will encourage my students to become active learners and I will be able to connect with all the students learning styles. It will also allow me to be able to track their different learning levels and create the perfect instructional groups, plus facilitate me to use the data to prepare their individualized assignments.
Technology has the ability to enrich my relationship with my students since I will be able to meet their individual needs.
This technology will also help make teaching and learning more meaningful and fun. This technology can actually be used to improve my teaching and help my students be more successful. Instead of me being the only source of help in the classroom, students can access web sites, online tutorials, and other online computer programs that are required by my district.
