My Students

My students come from many different backgrounds and lifestyles, but most are from low income families. Our school has all of our students on a free breakfast and lunch program.

My students are full of energy and curiosity.

They love working with new things and looking at our curriculum in new, creative ways. Our students work hard to overcome any adversities they may be facing and are eager to learn at school each day.

At our school, we try to make sure every student has a way to be successful. We want to include all learning types to help the students be the best they can be. I want my classroom to be welcoming and engaging for all students!

My Project

My students love using technology in their every day lives. I try to bring as much of that to my classroom as possible to make the curriculum more exciting and relevant to them.

Boogie Boards will be great options for math small groups so that students can work out math problems without the issues brought on by whiteboards and markers.

Unfortunately, using whiteboards becomes messy and brings the constant issue of markers running out of ink. Not to mention, students will love the fact that they are doing math on technology! This is a great way for my students to get more excited about solving math problems.
