Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class is composed of 11th and 12th students with special needs. The school population is composed of Latinos, African Americans, and Pacific Islanders which are multiracial. Students studying here are qualified for free lunch due to low economic level. 

Students in my class were eager to learn real-life situations and to survive independently from their parents.

Due to their disability, learning in the same way as their peers is difficult for them. My class needs interactive and motivational learning materials to help them improve their deficiency in Mathematics skills. One way to create a fun learning experience is to provide them with colorful printed learning materials. This will catch their attention and help them learn to love Math especially. 

Seeing special students learn differently is the same as touching and making a difference in their lives. With your generosity, this dream for my students will be materialized. We can print learning materials with the printer that you will donate and play interactive games and lessons on tablets for students who need one-on-one accommodations. Playing is the pathway to academic interest and success. Your donation will be a big part of success in their high school life.
