Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are in need of technology to help them become comfortable and aware of how to use other technology besides iPads. My students currently use iPads in class and at home to complete their assignments.
Technology is amazing and the wave of the future.
With that being said, my students need to become familiar with a variety of technology tools.
I would love to have an Apple iMac Desktop Computer that can be used in class for a variety of reasons. My students will be able to use apps that will help them master math concepts like multiplication and division. My students will also become knowledgable on the difference between using a tablet versus a desktop computer with a keyboard. The keyboard, for example, is different between these two devices; even the care that each unit needs is different. I would love for my students to become familiar with more than one form of technology; for this, we need a variety of devices.
