Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
When we went to school, we only had those Apple computers that featured four colors. Now, the world has so much technology, if only we had a piece!
My 21 students are amazing and love to learn.
They strive to reach their amazing potential each day. Seven students receive free lunch, five are in special education and three in ESOL. Many of them cannot afford to have technology in their homes. However, no matter the boundaries, they all care deeply about one another and the education of all involved.
My Project
There are so many great apps available. I can't wait to be able to do some research to find the very best educational ones. Helping with this project would give my students a chance to become more technologically savvy and improve many skills in both reading and math. Each day, students have the opportunity to work in pairs or independently to learn and having two tablets for a center would be amazing.
I am always looking for new ways to enrich the education of my students.
It seems to be a great time to bring new technology in the classroom. Having tablets would give student multiple and varied opportunity to broaden their skill sets.
