Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are fun-loving, eager little beavers when it comes to learning all things new; especially when it involves the use of a keyboard, headphones, great graphics and cool "games"!

My kiddos come in all shapes and sizes, colors and different socio-economic backgrounds, all of which have one common goal: To "get to go to computers!"

Most of them come from homes with no technological devices, whatsoever. They are 21st century kids living with limited accessibility to technological devices in a high tech world.

My Project

The Chromebooks I have requested will be used in the classroom to enhance the writing and investigating process as we explore a new means of acquiring data available through technology since the majority of my students have no computers, tablets, or technological devices within their homes.

We are in desperate need of computers, being that our ever evolving world depends on technology and students need to be given every opportunity to use computers and be taught how to use them.

We will also utilize the Chromebooks to engage in reading and math programs that are used within our district as a means of assessment throughout the year.
