Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am the luckiest teacher in the world! I teach students 4-6 at an elementary school in Arizona. My students struggle with learning but every day they come to school eager to try their best. Their willingness to put in the hard work and effort is why I feel so fortunate!
Though these students have learning challenges, they are determined to succeed!
They put forth their best effort and work hard to make themselves and their parents proud. These students may not learn in traditional methods but they will progress and they will achieve!
My Project
My class is working on improving their writing. I hope to combine writing in all subject areas with technology. Our students need to develop 21st Century skills and become proficient at using technology for college or any career they choose to do!
Two Chromebook computers will take the labor out of writing and turn it into a collaborative project!
With Chromebook computers, we can access extensions to make editing spelling and grammar easier. We can listen to our stories and journals after we write them. We can participate in writing activities and be proud of our writing skills and our developing technological skills.
