Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

More than half of my students come from low income, single parent homes.

My students are lovable, talkative, and ready to learn.

We love to do interactive learning and use technology to farther students’ math understanding.

My classroom is decorated in Dallas Cowboys theme, it makes our learning environment very fun! Students enjoy working on their online math program and strive to reach higher levels on the program. When students grow we put their picture the wall of fame in the cafeteria to celebrate their achievement.

My Project

Our school has access to an online math program that works with students to help them grow in math.

My students need more technology to be able to use this online math program more.

Right now we only have five student computers in my classroom and some technology that is shared between other classes. For students to be successful they need to complete at least thirty lessons on the math program, more technology would help every student reach their goal.

With these tablets, I would also like to have students watch math videos or songs to help them remember the steps in solving multi-step equations.
