This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are excited to learn! We have been working hard in class to ensure we are safe and learning daily. Working during a pandemic has brought on many challenges. Access to technology seems to be our biggest hurdle to overcome.

Our children are so eager to learn.

I would like to provide them with every tool I can to make help them be successful in their future.

My Project

During these unprecedented times we are trying to meet the needs of all children. Technology is an important tool that will be used to connect to one another and learn.

The iMac will be a reliable resource for my students to access various educational websites, virtual field trips, and Zoom with other students if needed.

My students will be able to see the slides I have prepared and will be able to hear me when I am teaching my Language Arts and Math lessons. They will be able to listen to stories I am reading, see the screen I am sharing, and view instructional videos that I am sharing. Most importantly, we will be connected to each other. If needed my students will be able to Zoom with students from home, or use the computer as a station for small group work. The possibilities for this Apple iMac is endless!
