Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My third graders are amazing. We expect so much from these hard working eight and nine year old children, and they meet the expectations. Each child comes from different situations at home, some are loved and supported, others are not as lucky. They come from a variety of backgrounds from foster homes to military families.
My third graders come to school every day, eager and ready to learn new skills!
They are hard working and are determined to become better readers, better mathematicians, better scientists and better citizens in our world. Each one has their own personality, and I am excited to see what they are going to bring to our future.
My Project
Today's world is filled with technology and not every one has access to it. Giving students a chance to learn while using technology will prepare them for their future. Having Chromebooks gives students a chance to learn new skills, enhance their learning, and give them something beyond just pencil and paper.
By donating to this project, you will give students access to a tool that will help them become better learners and give them a better chance at succeeding in this technological driven world we are in.
Students will be able to learn new and exciting things every day! Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology.
