My Students

Our middle school is a learning community that is committed to promoting academic excellence within a safe, nurturing environment that is responsive to the social, emotional, and intellectual needs each adolescent child. We have more than 700 students enrolled and we are Stamford’s largest middle school. The school community at our school is a reflection of Stamford’s diverse population both ethnically and socioeconomically. A predominant percentage of students come from low – mid income families as more than 60% of the student population is on free/reduced lunch.

My Project

Having a good computer will be essential to my students' success. I really need an up to date computer for remote learning.

I am a 7th grade Social Studies teacher and I will need a reliable computer to video conference with my students, create plans, work with small groups, collaborate with colleagues, share documents, communicate with parents- really control everything through this computer.

I will basically run my classroom though one computer. I will need something dependable and current. My students will depend on me and I do not want to let them down.
