it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students, whom I have the privilege of teaching, are amazing. I am a PE teacher at a low-income, inner-city public school. Our physical education department would like to enhance our curriculum by incorporating more technology. Our only indoor teaching spaces are our gyms. We have a projector, however, the lights in the gym do not turn off, so it is very difficult to view the lessons or activities that we project on the walls. We try to use an old TV, but the screen size is too small for our large class sizes.
The students love the digital content and technology we incorporate in our PE classes.
The 75-inch smart TV and portable TV stand will allow us to teach more physical literacy lessons to our students. They will be able to actually read our presentations on the screen. We can incorporate interactive digital games into our classes. We will be able to show videos on the activities and skills that we teach, and so much more.
The new equipment will allow our students to learn new skills. Our teachers will be able to expose our students to many new activities and lessons. We will be able to assist our students in literacy and comprehension. It will also allow our teachers who may be afraid to teach some units because of their lack of skills by being able to use video to demonstrate the skills to their classes.
