My students are in the 3rd grade at our wonderful school in Oakley Ca. They are ready and willing to take on the challenges of academic rigor that come with the third grade and they are excited to do so. They aren't little kids anymore and the expectations that they have to rise to this year are tough but they can and will be successful, especially with a little support.
My students are smart, motivated and capable as well as being excited to take on the new challenges that come their way.
This group of future movers and shakers will benefit endlessly from access to supplies and practice opportunities because that is all that they are lacking for high achievement.
My Project
My students are smart and capable learners and future leaders. They have been working hard to embrace technology and meet the tech skills expectations but that is hard to do because of our lack of devices. Our class has only 8 Chromebooks for the whole class to share. I am really hoping to get a little closer to my goal of having 1 devices for each 2 students to share.
I also hope to add more Chromebooks, warranty, mouse, and an Ozobot to our coding menagerie to make this year's coding projects even more successful.
Last year we had a great time using what we had but it can be a challenge for so many students to share so few resources. It would be even better if we increased the students' access by providing more devices so please help me makes these goals a reality.
