My Students

My 1st grade classroom is more than just ABCs and 123s. It is a positive, caring environment that focuses on challenge and discovery. This year they are learning important foundations that will set the stage for a lifetime of learning. They are excited to explore and be creative in meaningful learning experiences. They love to move, love to read, love technology, and love lots of positive attention. By providing them with the most positive, creative and challenging learning environment possible, I am hopeful that they get the best start in academic excellence.

My Project

The Chromebooks will greatly improve what my students are able to learn and do within the classroom setting. Technology is growing at an ever increasing speed and with this donation, the students will be able to not only increase their learning but also extend it; thus, giving them a greater advantage in the coming years. The Chromebooks will help to make learning fun for the students and encourage them to be lifelong learners. Students learning is increased when it is fun and engaging for them. What better way to accomplish that then to have them use something they are already using at home?
