My students need an iPad as a source of technology in our classroom for support and preparation for our technological world.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I may be biased but, my students are wonderful in many ways. They are fun, kind, hardworking individuals and together, they have created a warm, welcoming atmosphere where each of them can thrive.
I am fortunate to teach 20 unique students that come from a range of backgrounds.
Our district is comprised of predominately low income, English Language Learners which makes us wonderful, but also supplies us with a challenge as educators.
Varying student backgrounds, academic levels, and resources are relevant, stationary obstacles but the lack of technology in our beloved classroom is an obstacle that can be moved. We may be a diverse group of individuals, but we all share a passion for learning and becoming the best us we can be.
My Project
These materials will make a difference in our classroom in numerous ways. We will use the iPad for reading, math, and a source to display and showcase our learning. I would love to get more of my students utilizing the great resource our school has purchased called Reflex Math. Students work through games and interactive lessons to fine tune their mathematics. I would also really like to get my students involved in a tool called SeeSaw. Students can share, comment, record, take pictures and so much more with this resource. Parents and other invited member can see the posted work as well which will help get our families involved and excited in our classroom and the leaning we are doing!
We will utilize this technology to enrich our learning in all academic areas all while preparing for our technological future.
We will use Reflex Math, Moby Max, and Seesaw on a daily basis among many other useful resources.
