Technology for Enhancing Arts Integrated Learning!
My students need Kindle Fire tablets with cases to accentuate their growing foundational knowledge with the use of apps and games to help differentiate learning even further.
Every day my students are greeted at the door with a smile and squirt of hand sanitizer. We sing, dance, and be ourselves throughout the day. I would love to have my students be above and beyond their grade level. I feel that they react well to technology and sadly there is a lack in my classroom.
My students are the most fun little people.
They all have their own distinct personalities that have come to shine brightly in everything we do. My students are rambunctious, sincere, and rarely tell a lie because of the relationships we have built together between teacher and student.
My school is an amazing arts integrated school that provides differing opportunities for students, including many "specials" like music, dance, art, theater, Spanish, and media. It is a place where each student can be themselves through any medium they choose to express.
Each day I see my students grow more and more into their newfound knowledge and the people they are. They are remarkable and are going to continue doing amazing and wonderful things.
My Project
My students will be using these tablets during center time as a means to enhance their own personal growth within literacy and mathematical practices. They will be given the opportunity to have a choice in what they want to work on and having that opportunity to show what they know in a very hands-on setting.
Each of the tablets will be put to good use and be used EVERY DAY by young minds who will soon pass their teachers in understanding of these technological breakthroughs.
Overall, it would be a means for students to be pushed even further in their understanding of foundational practices and front load them for entering into first grade in the coming year.
