This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a diverse classroom full of wonderful students. I teach a multi-age class of 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. I love watching them learn and help one another. I teach reading, writing, and social studies through the workshop model.
My Project
These iPads will help me to provide my students with new opportunities to learn by having them stationed at language arts centers. The students will also be able to use the iPads when researching social studies topics and to practice and review learned concepts.
I also hope to use iPads as tools in my classroom library!
This will help me to check out books from my classroom library more efficiently by using a library app. I will be able to keep track of all of my books in a more effective way.
