My Students

Our School is a Title 1 school in a low poverty area. Our students can come to us a little rough around the edges but they also come with a lot of love, curiosity, and energy. Resources are hard to come by at our school.

I work with students with disabilities.

My students are very special to me. My students are capable, loving, and fun to work with. We work hard every day to learn as much as we can.

My Project

My students would love to have more technology in our classroom. Many of my students have fine motor issues. Technology allows them to type their work instead of writing it. This technology will also allow each student their own piece of technology in my classroom.

These Fire Tablets, cases and the charging dock would allow us to do some interactive learning, reading, and writing.

I prefer the kindle models because it allows me to control the apps and games that my students use. It also allows me to add books for them to read. It amazes me how much more willing students are to read when they can do it on a tablet.
