My Students

I have some of the most creative students in my school. They need technology that matches their potential. Right now we have a class set of Mac laptops and Adobe Creative Suite, but we need a way to interact with our laptops which will provide our Design students with industry-standard equipment. Right now these students are relying on the touchpad on their laptops but is difficult to truly design without additional equipment.

Many schools claim diversity, but our school is truly a microcosm of cultural, economical, ethnic and religious groups.

The ability of our students to get along is one of my favorite aspects of my high school. We are a true international school. In this type of environment, we need to provide diverse methods of learning that will match the diversity of the student body.

My Project

As future Graphic & Product Designers, my students are beginning to realize their potential, but without industry-standard equipment, these students are already starting off behind.

By using Magic Trackpads, my students can truly be 21st century creative thinkers.

Right now they must rely on the laptop trackpad which is far too small to truly design with. This equipment will allow my students to truly be 21st century learners and designers.

Creative thinking is one of the most desired qualities by technology industries. This grant will help me support my students and get them a little closer to 21st century career.
