My Students

Our students are unique, ambitious and full of creative energy! In our classroom, we currently have 10 children ranging from 7-10 years old. Our students are motivated to learn and love completing hands-on activities!

In a world where technology is taking over, we want to be sure we are preparing our children for the future.

It is extremely important that our children are exposed to current technology in order to give them a greater chance of being successful in this technology-driven world in the future!

Generalizing skills is an important task for us in order to ensure that what we are teaching can be used outside the classroom.

Our school is located in the inner city part of Philadelphia in an impoverished neighborhood where a lot of children don’t have basic necessities and therefore lack the skills to be successful in today’s world.

As teachers, we strive to fill this gap and give children experiences that they may not have had otherwise.

My Project

Hands-on learning is one of the best ways to teach students with Autism. Having touchscreen computers will allow all my students of all functioning levels to be able to fully participate in various activities while learning to use current technology. In our technology-driven society, it is important for us as educators to make sure all students have the exposure they need to be successful in this world.

By having these Chromebooks in our classroom, our students will have consistent opportunities to work on various skills that will help them in their future endeavors.

Thank you for viewing this project, all shares and donations are greatly appreciated!
