Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students live in a primarily low-income area which has a large homeless student population. School is our students' safe and consistent environment. We strive to provide an encouraging, safe and well-rounded experience for our students and to provide them with a fantastic education! Our students are kind and respectful and appreciative of every resource that is available to them. Every opportunity that we can give a student is one that will make an impact on their lives forever.
With all odds stacked against them, my great group of 27 fifth-graders come ready to learn every day!
I strive to make learning engaging and fun every day. By using all our resources possible, I am able to send my students to middle school ready for success!
My Project
Through this project, I will be able to easily create copies for all my students. I can print papers in colors to better help them understand many different concepts! This will help students succeed and allow me to be able to quickly provide materials to adjust my lesson as possible.
I have access to Chromebooks for all my students but am unable to unlock their full potential without headphones for everyone.
By giving headphones to each student, I will be able to differentiate my online instruction to better meet my students' individual needs! This will allow my students a better chance at success and focusing on their school work!
