This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a Title I school where many of my students do not have internet access at home. So when they get a chance to get on the computers at school, they love it! Whether it be practicing math or reading skills or doing research projects, they love their computer time.

My class consists of students with various learning styles and abilities.

Each child in my classroom is truly unique. I incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met! They are a great group of students!

My Project

Having a Chromecart with Chromebooks in my classroom will ensure that all my students have access to technology. We use Chromebooks during small group time for practice on Math, Reading, and doing research. Students also use them for taking assessments.

Being able to test all my students at one time will be a huge time saver!

I currently have to share Chromebooks with another teacher. Being able to have a cart of Chromebooks in my classroom not only benefits my students but also the other class as well. I know my students will appreciate having a Chromecart in their classroom.
