Our children need a combination of intellectual skills, motivational qualities, and socio-emotional skills to succeed in school. Our children will use a the TV monitor in a variety of ways to teach and reinforce character development at our school.
My elementary school is located in in Minnesota.
Our school has over 740 students ranging from preschool to 5th grade. Our children come from a variety of backgrounds. Some of our students are brand new to the United States. Many of our children live in poverty. Almost 70% of our students receive free or reduced lunch.
My Project
Do you know how empowering it would feel to see yourself or your name on a TV monitor? The TV monitor will be put in our lunchroom. It will allow our students to have educational material presented to them through educational videos and student produced videos. It will provide them with an alternative and fun way to reinforce learning. The TV monitor will also be a motivational tool. Students will be recognized through student produced programs.
The TV monitor will be a useful educational tool integrated in our lunchroom area. Our students use this space before, during and after school. A TV monitor will allow us to reinforce curriculum material in a fun way. Furthermore, the TV monitor will also serve a reward for our students through personal recognition and technology development.
This TV monitor will be used with all of our school in a variety of ways.
It will help recognize our students daily. Students will be in charge of programming. Technology knowledge helps our students reach their full potential. It will be win-win for all of our students for many years!
