The majority of the students at our school are from low-income families. They look forward to school in order to use and have access to things they normally have no access to at home.
My students enjoy school and work hard throughout the day.
They have little or no access to technology that is updated and the applications I can add to the technology. These Chromebooks would allow me to add a technology center and the apps I could add to them would allow me to also incorporate a variety of skills and subjects to my whole and small group centers.
The Chromebooks would give them access to a whole new area of learning using technology they don't normally have access to and by using apps that encourage learning and help them to excel and succeed.
My students are special kids who work hard and need to feel happy and comfortable at school. They would excel given the opportunity to use updated technology. They deserve Chromebooks!!
My Project
My students have little or no technology in their homes and as a Title I school serving low income students our technology is very limited. As a teacher who wants to give her students the best education I can, I need these Chromebooks to introduce my students to many educational sites, apps and to utilize Google Classroom in my class.
My students deserve the best possible education and the best technology, apps and educational opportunities.
Our third grade state tests are also on the computer.They need practice and the chance to give it their best as well as the best education available and these Chromebooks would be a wonderful start!
