My students are wonderful! They are so excited to learn and it has been harder than ever to reach them. My goal is to help them reach their potential by making learning fun and making the learning process easier for them by incorporating technology into the classroom and at home.
I work at a Title I school, which means that many of my students come from a low income socioeconomic status.
My Project
A computer will help teachers be able to sufficiently stream lessons from both in school and at home, and transfer documents that students create from in person learning to remote learning more easily and efficiently. It will also allow students to have uninterrupted instruction. Students will be able to access Google Classroom and upload assignments when in school. They will be able to look information up to complete research projects, type their essays form both in school and at home using platforms such as Google Docs or Jam board.
So much of teaching is through technology these days and without the proper equipment, both teachers and students are getting left behind.
So much learning is happening on devices that are not compatible for certain platform, making an already challenge time even more difficult.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
