This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a committed National Board Certified Education Specialist in a high school setting. Our Title I school serves a diverse group of students, and I am inspired by their determination as they face social, emotional, and academic challenges. In my Community-Based Instruction (CBI) class, we've engaged in activities such as joining the yearbook staff, participating in school events, volunteering in the community, and serving on the Associated Student Body (ASB). My students excel in movement and hands-on experiences, and I am honored to be their teacher, encouraging them to exceed their highest expectations.

Chalkie is a tool for teachers to create classroom-ready lessons, sheets and acitivities faster than ever before.

This subscription will provide me with the technology to create differentiated lesson to accomodate all learners. With vibrant colors and engaging text, my students will be delighted with the content. The power pen and accomodated cards; blends, vowels, dry erase money books, word families and telling time cards will uplift my small group instruction, helping students learn life skills, career exploration, and leadership development. These items and subscription will help me prepare life skills and career exploration lessons for the real world. Thank you for supporting students with extensive needs.
