This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We live in a world where technology is taking over, and our students' success rates are constantly being compared to students with updated technology that is easily accessible. Unfortunately, our school does not have the resources to provide EACH student with working/dependable laptops. I was equipped with a computer cart with 18 devices, and while that is more than we've ever had, each student does not have a computer to use. This situation makes it difficult because some various lessons and tasks require the use of technology. On top of that, there are days when the classroom set of computers will work fine, and the next day some won't charge. You never know how the day will go regarding technology in our school.

Therefore, my class would greatly benefit from additional, dependable technology.

Our students want to be able to have the chance to be able to compete in today's technology-focused world. Moreover, we are using a district-wide online curriculum; without computers, it's difficult for students to do their assigned work. Our class also needs additional laptlaptopsome books so that each student has their own to work on and better focus.
