This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"Good, Better, Best! I'll never let it rest until my good is better and my better is best!" This is what my students walk in and say every morning. I want them to repeat and feel confident in knowing that they cannot stop working hard and giving all of their efforts unless you truly give yourself that best effort.

I teach at a Title 1 school in south Louisiana where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

My kiddos were affected by the floos and we lost everything from our homes to our desks.

My Project

Bringing in technology into a classroom is very important! We would use it in our daily lessons! As tech savy as children are now, it’s almost detrimental to have some form of technology in the classroom! It helps kids get engaged into what they are truly learning! Our classroom doesnt have any computers or any sort of technology. It was all lost in the flood of August 2016. We are still in temporary buildings until we can rebuild. Let’s see what we can do to help these little ones learn and grow! Thank you for every person who is willing to help
