Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My school is located in rural Mississippi. Our district lacks the funds needed to adequately supply our classroom needs. My kindergarteners are very bright and deserve the much-needed materials and I know that with added resources their knowledge would increase! They love any new materials I provide and have a real thirst for learning! Having the much-needed classroom materials would enhance their education and allow them to be successful! Please help our future generation to excel!

My Project

In our kindergarten classroom we use technology everyday. The children play smart-board games, computer games, watch educational videos and complete mandatory online work which is required by our school district. The children enjoy working on the computers and smart-board and the cabinet would allow us to update where we have our smart-board laptop. The computer table would allow the children to have a child sized computer area. My kindergartners are in my classroom a good majority of their day and the new items would make their environment more inviting. Thank you in advance for you generous donation.
