Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I have a wonderful group of 3, 4, and 5-year-olds. In my class I have 8 boys and 6 girls. They love to play and learn. We are an inner-city charter preschool that focuses on getting ready for kindergarten and how to become a leader.

My Project

In our classroom, my students do not have any type of technology to use. I would like to make a technology center for my students. I have a lot of interesting apps that I would like to introduce to my students to help them learn letters, colors, and shapes. This will also help me reinforce what I am already teaching them so they can practice what they are learning. For example, we do a letter and number of the week. With the tablets, students can play fun learning games based on that letter or number.
