My Students

My kindergarten students need every educational opportunity available to encourage learning. Technology is the way to motivate them.

I teach 24 energetic, ready to learn kindergartens.

For most of my students this is their first school experience and I want for it to be a memorable one! Kindergarten sets the foundation for the rest of their educational careers and your donation will help me maximize their experiences. Our school is located in South Los Angeles, CA. We are a 100% Title 1 school, which means all of our students qualify for free meals.

My Project

I am requesting an iPad Mini to complete a technology center in our classroom. We currently have four devices available to use as a center but with a class of 24, we need one more device so that a group of 6 students is able to use the center at a time. With the use of the iPad mini, students will be motivated to learn even more. The apps will help my students build and strengthen their skills.

Your donations will help complete my technology center.

My goal for this center is to have six students practicing their kindergarten skills on devices during small group instruction. The time spent on the devices will be even more meaningful because they will not have to share them; they will have the device entirely to themselves during the duration of the rotation.
